With its almost 5,500 residents, Primiero San Martino Di Castrozza is a scattered municipality based in Fiera di Primiero, in the province of Trento, in the region of Trentino-Alto Adige, born from the fusion of Fiera di Primiero, Tonadico, Siror and Transacqua and recently established in 2016.

In addition, the territory is part of the Natural Park Pavaneggio-Pale di San Martino, within which the Group of the Pale di San Martino delle Dolomiti was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2009.
